About

Know Your Right From Wong

This blog is an eclectic approach to life as a twenty-something in an urban lifestyle (currently Seattle, WA). Content varies from food & drink, social justice, exploration, intellectual growth, and everything in between. This blog is about calling people in, not calling people out. Unless otherwise stated, the artwork/pictures provided on whatwentwong.com are made with mixed media by Natalie Wong.

My name is Natalie Wong! I’m a twenty-something Seattle native who rather successfully fulfills most Seattlite stereotypes. I am a die-hard Seattle Mariners fan and general baseball fanatic. Recently, I have become a proud dog mom to my wonderful puppy Ignatius (Iggy)! I am a self-proclaimed coffee and happy hour aficionado, and I hope to take you on my journey of urban exploring, coffee shop hopping, and never-ending adventures. I have spent time in Cambridge, England and Chicago, Illinois taking classes and exploring the cities. But, there’s nothing quite like home! As I delve into my twenties, I have the new opportunity of exploring foods and drinks that I’ve never experienced before. In my free time, I love to paint and draw (and generally create art using mixed media). I have chosen to feature my art on this blog through my blog posts as I see fit. I am proud to call myself a feminist, social justice advocate, and passionate woman in the queer community.
